New Urban Gothic, has received a favorable review in the Spring 2001 edition of Future Music Magazine.
The review by Stephen Lawson of Future Music reads:
" Weep, O Mine Eyes: Weep? I nearly wet myself if that counts!"
Originally released in 1988, "The Ropes That Bind" was a joint project between Michael Weicker of Weep, O' Mine Eyes and Richard Reynolds of brokenpaws who go under the name Wings+ Heaven.
The Ropes that Bind was a unique project in that the two artists worked in isolation, providing each other with 2 tracks of a four track tape with the other artist having to create music for the other two tracks, being able to influence the original two tracks in any way.
